Update this month.... I haven't been a watch wearer in over 10 years.... but my wife recently bought me this one as a gift and I really like it.

Self winding when you walk, and I like how it's a skeleton watch in the back as well as the front.

this is the one i have. got it in august. except as soon as i got it home i took off the bracelet and replaced it with a PROPER black rubber dive band.
it has the carbon fiber dial.

I'm sporting one of my Germans today, the NOMOS Orion. NOMOS is a cool company, with (mostly) in-house movements and pretty reasonable prices by luxury watch standards.

That looks pretty cool, one of these days I will own a watch with a moonphase complication.

One thing though, in watches as in guitars, gold plating is prone to wearing off in spots and looking ratty after a while. If they make a SS version that would be the one to grab.

I've got one of these. Great watch but heavy as a boat anchor. My daily watch is a Sub Mariner fake that I bought for $20 drunk in Puerto Vallarta about 15 years ago. It still works great and has outlasted a couple of Sekos.
