Where is a good online source for science news?

Depends what you are looking for I suppose. Space.com is good for not very technical information about recent space events (SpaceX launches, JWST releases that sort of thing). For more technical related stuff or more cutting edge I look at Science and Nature Magazine websites. A lot of times the stuff is way over my head and sometimes it's not available other than the abstract without paying though. There are a few Youtube channels I like as well but they don't always update that regularly and are specific to a particular topic usually (like just Astrophysics)

Watched the Bear's preseason game last Saturday. No pregame but, I switched the channel 10 minutes early. Science Q was on. First question was what country is the Spinx in? Egypt of course. Guess it's still Saturday morning so, it's a kid's show and I'm feeling this is beneath me. Then I learned scientists believe the Spinx was at one time painted. Did not know that.

New Scientist

Thank you... I've been looking for a good, diverse, source of science news other than just hearing something on NPR, BBC, or a TED talk, and then going down a rabbit hole searching for more than a brief headline without any substantive details.

If I like enough of the free articles, I'll probably subscribe as it's pretty cheap and doesn't assault your face with too many ads. :helper:
