When is indoor soccer making a comeback

I'd totally be down for that! Back in the day, the San Diego Soccers were pretty incredible. They won the MISL Championship 6 times in 7 years. Best Pro sports team we ever had and a lot of fun to watch. I would love to see it return but we desperately need a new indoor arena. The old SD Sports Arena is a dilapidated turd. Several big developers are currently in talks with the city to build a new one. Maybe we could even attract an NBA or NHL team... again.

I like regular outdoor soccer. Although during this year's World Cup in sunny Qatar, plenty of the participants might be dreaming about a nice, air-conditioned arena.

As long as "arena football" stays gone for good... :annoyed:

The Qatar WC will be played in winter though, so at least the players shouldn't die. Stadium workers on the other hand...

Seriously....that WC location never should have happened.

Yep. Blatant corruption, and everyone knows it. Platini, Jack Warner and Blatter eventually got caught for various cases of corruption, and now Infantino who took over as FIFA president....lives in Qatar. Coincidence? Hell no. And just a few months ago, 2 journalists from over here were arrested when they were looking into the conditions of workers in Qatar. Not suspicious at all.
And that's just the tip of the proverbial iceberg.

Sportswashing at its very worst, and while a few people here and there have talked about boycotting it nothing will really happen. Because money.

I've been to one professional soccer game. It was fantastic. While it was played indoors, i don't recall if it was indoor soccer.
One guy attempted a bicycle kick goal. That was a treat.
