WTF: What would you do?

So- just got a call from the assistant principal at the high school. Apparently my oldest son, who is big into running had a professional photo taken by a non school official (not us) of him running that got published in the yearbook- and was handed out to all the students.

Apparently his shorts rode up in the photo exposing his nut sack. The principal said my son was laughing about it. Apologized to me and is paying for his yearbook.

I'm not sure how I feel about this.

Meh. I wouldn't worry about it. Half the world has them, and pretty much everyone has seen them. It will give him a good story to tell at the reunion in 25 years.

Depends... how's it look?

I haven't seen the picture in the yearbook yet - I will when he brings it home. Told the Assistant Principal I didn't want to comment until I saw the picture.

It's kinda funny to me.

So is the school recalling all the yearbooks?

Not that they told me.

Either best Senior Prank ever (even if it was an accident) or College Tuition.

I had an accidental yearbook prank when I inadvertently wound up in the yearbook of the rival high school (Villa Park) to the one I attended (Orange). Good times, and a great laugh. Plus it's a nice little story I get to tell people like you.

When the assistant principal woke up this morning, do you think his first thought was, "I'm going to have to call this guy and tell him his son's junk was published in the yearbook."

Because, if that happened, it would be really hard to look forward to the day.

LOL. Nothing to get upset about IMO. I assume it isn't too bad since it got past the editing process.

OTOH, I'm expecting to hear from this guy's lawyers any day now:

Nature - wild and untamed. :embarrassed:

I'b be curious as to how nobody caught it before it went to press.

This

I was on yearbook staff in HS and every photo in the yearbook had to be approved by one of the editors and the facility sponsors. And then everything was reviewed a second time when the proofs were sent back.

Hell, that's gonna be talked about UNTIL the 25-year reunion .

If he's cool with it, he's gonna enjoy the fame it is bringing
