What Do We Think of White Lea Paul Customs?

Aesthetically. I mean, I recognize that gold hardware is heresy and that these guitars are gaudy monuments to ill-conceived opulence, but I’ve begun to think they look sexy. Am I having a stroke?

They're reminiscent of a white falcon. Appropriate in the same settings a white tuxedo would fit. Sexy, but silly.

White LP can be done without the gold hardware, and it looks pretty good.

My Studio is less flashy, though.

Supposedly, on high end guitars at least, where perfection is expected, the factory has to totally clean the spraying rooms and spray the white guitars in batches, or have a separate spraying booth only for white guitars. There can be no contaminants from other colors floating around.

300 bucks each seems a bit steep though, but hey..... It's authentic!....

I like white LP Customs. I think the black plastic makes it pop. I do prefer chrome hardware, but gold is not the end of the world.

My white 50’s Tribute LP looks plain by comparison. It came with tan plastic that I swapped out for black. I do love the weight (7.6 lbs).

I don't know, sounds racist to me.

White LP? Better than many other colors and not as good as many other colors.

I like 'em. And I'm with ya on the gold hardware. Silver/Chrome looks great on white or ivory.

So, in short, no stroke, no worries.

They’re using ebony on the black ones, too. Even the $4,000 70s model. Surprisingly even Epiphones come with ebony.

I sold this Burny LPC to CME a couple of months ago. It's one of the best Les Pauls I've ever played. But I sold it because I don't need it, and I'm fighting the temptation to buy it back.
