WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO......RIGHT NOW......Mk III

angus was just so badass back then....the look, the relenteless headbanging and of course the playing....total Guitar God

My 18 yr old is showering listening to music. Right now it’s The tune Brothers In Arms from Dire Straits.

He’s not a player, but he digs the sound & meaning behind the song. Feels like I did good by him relating to what to appreciate in music.

Cool song and really like the video. nice to see skateboards in the post apocalyptic world and did you notice she looks to be wearing Vans Half Cabs at about 1:31

That warehouse she was exploring looked like it might also contain a rusty old MG just waiting for you to waste 200 hours of labor.

:puke: I'm in the final stretch of putting back together a 2012 Land Rover LR4. It's a 5.0 with direct injection. I did the timing chanins on it minus the high pressure fuel pump camshaft chain because in order to do that I would have had to drop the subframe and rack and pinion in order to get the oil pan off. We had to purchase over 1000 USD of special tools (just for the chains and crankpulley)specific just to this motor and a couple varients of it. The whole bumper, bumper fascia, radiator, ac condenser, etc had to come off. The injectors take a special slide hammer to remove them. The fuel rails were so stuck on due to bloated o rings that we literally had to rig the engine crane up with straps to lift them off because prying with a giant prybar was only going to accomplish breaking the plastic valve covers so my boss came up with the crane idea after figuring the correct angle was 45 degrees etc (he's one of thos engineer minded dudes)...the book time is 15 hours which is ridiculously under time as the Land Rover dealer parts manager told my boss that even their top guys can't make the time on half the stuff...
any way I'm like 50 hours into the thing and the scary part is that before we took it apart we had to rotate the engine to get thing lined up....well it clearly states to only rotate clockwise which we did but at some point it hit a wall and would not budge, felt like it had hit a valve...but then it turned and we got it ready to take apart and after the struggle got the two timing chains , guides, etc on and went to rotate the engine twice to verify marks and it wood not budge after turning like 20 degrees (this was before Christmas) . So i told him fuck it we'll deal with it after Christmas vacation. Came back and miraculously it rotated but it kinda snags on one spot. We are hoping it is just a valve or something sticking from the carbon. I'm just hoping it starts and runs and doesn't have any timing related engine codes because i will probably purchase some dynamite and blow it up if it does

MUTANTSFun Terminal LP

A good pop album that could have been a great pop album. The songs still have a thousand hummable hooks and the background vocals are as coy as ever, but what the fuck happened to the heavy dual guitars that feature so prominently in the MUTANTS’ live shows? Unfortunately, they’ve been almost obliterated in a mix which overemphasizes Fritz’s weird voice. The same “wimpifying” technique turned the GO-GO’S into stars, but I wish someone would make a bootleg out of the MUTANTS’ earlier demo tape to provide a contrast and illustrate their real potential.
