Great stuff! The Garden of Jane Trelawney is a cracking album.

Also, while we're on the 'sylvan-named Brit psych folk' topic, Forest were another good band.

Yeah, that’s a classic album too! Shades of The Incredible String Band, Fairport Convention etc. Great track, love the album art. These are perfect for the Halloween season:

It's funny how these posts sometimes direct my listening....I was listening to the Furs today because of the posts above and for some reason they made me think of the Smithereens ( not sure why) a band I used to listen to a lot ( along with REM) in the time just before teh grunge took over the world . Haven't really even thought of them in decades

I’ve always loved the Smithereens, they could rock and ballad equally well…RIP Pat DiNizio. The posts here also direct/stimulate my listening, so much good stuff.
