Alan Shacklock was definitely an impressive player and gotta love his guitar tone with Babe Ruth, Janita def. has some pipes! He eventually left that band (which is when Bernie Marsden came onboard) to become a producer and has a pretty impressive resume: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Shacklock

Dave Gahan covers The Gun Club. In all my years of watching Depeche Mode I've never before seen Dave Gahan playing guitar.

I gotta check that out as well. I only just discovered them yesterday or the day before. Creature Feature is pretty good too!



Fine, upbeat horror surf with a splash of fuzz and funeral organ here and there and some great playing overall.
