hey I got a fancy-pants booze rec for Ol @DdBob : Elisir Novasalus; it's a wine-based amaro. It's not licorice-y, but it's bitter in the same way that amarelli licorice is. kinda burnt and soy-sauce-y and dark and awesome. By far the most bitter amaro I've had, in a good way if you're into that sort of thing.

Lidl have a Scottish beer fest on so I've had a couple from them. A Williams bros craft lager and Broughton 8.2 DIPA. Both good, both very good value
