Ordered that SDotD Mackie Mixer…. It arrives and the brown shipping box is dry and undamaged. The inner full color Mackie box is dry and undamaged…

… I pull the mixer out of the box and I see moisture inside the plastic bag around the mixer.

As I’m drying the mixer off, I realize that it’s not rainwater but more like a soapy, slightly oily, water like someone was pod casting at a Diddy party.

Out of morbid curiosity, I dry it off and check to see if anything works at all. There’s even moisture inside the LED display.

The signal meters are jumping all over the place with noise even though nothing is plugged in. Of course they’re sold out so I can’t get another…. Just a trip to the UPS store and a refund.

For the record..... The phone to customer service was already ringing when I plugged it in just to see how fucked it was from morbid curiosity.

it was sealed back in it's petri dish by the end of the call and is going back today.
