I got hold of a buddy with a complete wood shop. Going there tomorrow to make a truss rod channel, trim the fretboard and slice my body blank boards to width.
Stewmac hotrod. And here's the block and the fruit of an hours labor. Damn this rosewood is hard.
Plus, I've read some are sensitive to the dust and apparently I'm one of them. It's controllable with a good dust mask and keeping the dust cleaned up. Ill be glad when I'm done with it.
I'm kinda on hold til tomorrow morning.
My wood shop pal keeps rescheduling but we are supposed to cut tomorrow.
Need to get my fretboard cut to width and square before I cut slots. And I'm not supposed to radius sand til the slots are cut.
So tonight is bourbon instead.
