Looks fine to me. I am a lot less picky about how teles and strats are "supposed" to look now. If it looks good to play and visually acceptable to me, I'm in.

With the walnut tele under construction, I'm looking at paint schemes. Not a big fan of clear walnut on guitars.
I wonder how a transparent yellow would look over the dark walnut? Maybe I'd be better off using a primer and solid yellow.
I found a pinstriper just down the road from my place who does good work with a brush.
