I'm fine.... I'll be ripping out that bridge pickup tonight.... and while I was setting the intonation on this one last night, I started eyeballing some of the other necks and bodies on my bench. I may have to put another more twisted one together. :helper:

Went home and messed with the action, intonation and pickup height.


WOW... these EJ pickups are SUPER height sensitive. I got the bridge pickup as close to the strings as I dare on the bass side, and then dipped the treble side a bit and it's a LOT beefier now. I actually raised the middle and neck pickups to compensate and got them dialed in nice and funky. I think I'll leave this one alone for a while (again as a "baseline" to compare future projects to.

That thing is criminally smooth. :thu:
