Hofner Cs10 models are back on final closeout at AMS. 239.99, black only. List price is a grand, and these seemed to street around 5-600 when released. Made in China, but they get fantastic reviews, with some saying they put a lot into making a great guitar for Hofner to try to jump back into the guitar market in a big way....but it didn't work so well.

I ordered mine just a minute ago after missing the last deal on the flame top model a while back.

There are clips on MF. Didn't do anything for me. Different folks like different stuff. Surprised I didn't like it, I really like my EH mic pre, that looks very similar.

I can say, anybody that takes the plunge, at that price, you won't loose much money if you hate it, and get rid of it.
