Naps, in fact, kick so much ass, I actually have a little ditty song I sing to my cats everytime I get ready to take a nap.
It is a very joyous cheerful little song, kind of what you might hear on Sesame street, but I get so excited about taking naps, I involuntarily bust out in song.
Funny, but everyone I have ever lived with, old roomates, brother, family, old girlfriends automatically start singing the song too once they hear it. It is like an infection, but the one truth I seem to have found, is that everyone loves naps, and a nap is a special occasion to be celebrated, so it seems natural that a song should be part of the experience.
If you think this whole post and concept is completely ridiculous, you would be right, but I STILL cant help singing about it.
Meanwhile the cats just continue to roll their eyes.....

Well, my day is shot. So much for going out to run errands. The weather outside is beautiful (in the 60s - quite the contrast from snow flurries we had a few days ago). So, the windows are open for some fresh air. As a result, my two kitties are sprawled out in the sun beams, and are comatose to the world. They look so comfortable, that I don't have the heart to close things up to go shopping. Ahhh, it's no big deal. I can do it tomorrow after work.
