great lesson. i learned how to pick using eric johnson method which is very similar
its not about playing fast , but more about bouncing the pick
but you can also play super fast cleanly if you fancy that

say what you want about Yngwie dude has impeccable technique


another way to pick fast is circular technique. Dave Murray uses this. Its like rolling your thumb and forefinger around in a circle with the knuckle.
its very weird to get used to, but it enables one to pick REALLY FAST cleanly.

You still can go to Tahiti, you just have to go thru a couple of locks first, and then up and around tompettyland
