Columbia have no place criticizing Geiger. Christ, they’re incredibly lucky they didn’t play the second half with eight or nine players. The Columbia team showed absolutely zero class. I came into this game slightly favoring Columbia, but their utterly unsporting behavior changed my mind pretty quickly.

Yeah, he did an awful job, but it mostly helped Colombia stay in the game. I was watching with a Colombian friend, after the whole drama after the penalty he was done with "his own" team. I mean, you can't ride piggy back on an opponent through the entire box and then cry that it wasn't a foul. They played ridiculously aggressive and behaved like utter knobheads towards the English players and the ref. Sad thing is, it seemed to work, England completely lost their game... They were doing fine before all the insanity started, after their passing game was gone...
 
Oh, the English did their own bullshit. Both teams embarrassed themselves. But “that’s football!”

The way Colombia conducted themselves was appalling and how 11 men stayed on the park is farcical.
 
Shame, because play-wise, Colombia were much better than England, who played the ‘hoof the ball forward to Kane and hope for some magic’ tactic. I can’t see them progress much further.

Also, another England match means 2 hours of nobody taking a taxi and hence no business for me.
