Highlights of last week's trip to England: Chinese food done right. I'm now back in China and can't find a munchybox anywhere :embarrassed:.

I can feel my arteries hardening just looking at all that.
But would, of course.

I dunno why but I described a munchy box to my spouse and kid and they're obsessed with them now. I still haven't had one, but we look every time we travel to Europe.

My daughter did refer to hers as 'a big box of beige' (still loved it though).

The uniform colour is a sign of its consistent excellence. :thu:
Oh - I’m not saying I wouldn’t dig in, but I probably wouldn’t feel too good about myself afterwards…

Indian munchbox is far superior to a Chinese munchybox.

Both batter the monstrosity that is the chippy munchybox.

Most of us would be lucky to get a munchybox of any nationality--don't rub your privilege in our face.

It's just a rough approximation of related shit chucked in a box

American munchybox:

Fries
Hotdogs
Burgers
Chicken nuggets
Ketchup
Mustard

At a lot of our sports bar-type restaurants, they serve "sampler platters", which is a mix of deep fried stuff--mozzerella sticks, potato skins, wings, onion rings, etc. That's pretty much the same on paper, but I think it's different in spirit.

I mean you throw it in a pizza box and that's pretty much it though I suppose coming from a takeaway changes the vibe up somewhat.

Haud tha bus!

Looking back at the OP what toddler sized box is that? Clearly doesn't qualify as a true munchybox if it's under 12 inches.

I used to go pick up the sampler from O'Charleys about once a week but they closed up shop 3-4 yrs ago.
It was pretty decent loaded tater skins, chicken fingers, & mozzarella sticks. Kinda pricey but pretty good.
Applebees & Chilis are still around but their overpriced artery clogging samplers just dont cut it.
Theres a couple of local sports bars but they dont do take out and also kinda suck.
