IK Multimedia sent me an email saying that I had almost 50 JAM bucks that would expire soon.

So, I’m an idiot.
But I’m idiot with two full-sized TONEX pedals and now this.

It was on sale and with the jam bucks… well.

I haven’t had time to check it out yet.

Also, I need something that will do the MIDI thing.
I saw somewhere a rig that uses 3 TONEX Ones controlled by MIDI. If I remember right, one was stomps, one was amps, one was cabs. The MIDI switcher could change them all on the fly. Or something..

Happy New Pedal Day! I like the red. :thu:

The Airstep TX edition controls the ToneX One via the USB C. Also that Airstep allows you to adjust settings on the ToneX One via the Airstep App on a smartphone. Otherwise, there’s a good cheat sheet from TGP that helps to operate the ToneX One from the knobs, but it’s much more complicated. The App makes it intuitive. The Airstep also has a built in battery.

HNPD!
That tiny thing would drive me nuts. Be like trying to fly an airplane with a wristwatch. I know better than to even try to use something like that. I was an old man by 1991 and never even learned to program a vcr. I get frustrated even trying to use a daw because I have to spend half a day relearning the basics every time I fire it up.

Whats funny is that I now have two ToneX ones and a full sized pedal. One ToneX one is the battery powered board I keep in my gigbag, one is goiung in my rolling Fractal FM9 case with an LI box snd my other Airstep TX and the full sized one lives under my desk that I use when I'm teaching. Also got a Valeton GP5 for my school bag because it can be powered from my phone and is just convenient in the classroom.

All this and I still only use the Fractal on 95% of my gigs.
