New guitar day.

I promised my wife this would be the last complete guitar I buy for a while. It's a '96 Jimmie Vaughan in Shoreline Gold. I have a number of Strats and the soft V carve on this neck is my absolute favorite.

One day, I would love to have strats in every fender shade of gold. It is my favorite 'group' of colors for fenders.

I have a number of guitars in the works including some besides the ones in these photos.
I don't need more guitars, so I'll give one to a needy kid to relieve my guilt, and stash the others in the closet.

I had hoped to have this one done this weekend, but it didn't happen.
