When Derivicus was the first responder to my initial thread, I knew things had gotten really weird in a very short period of time. I've nothing against the guy personally, but last I checked, he had received the equivalent of a triple-life ban....

I still check the place out everyday but its more out of habit than anything else. They really punched a hole through the heart of the community there with this last change. :(

I haven't been back for several weeks, and since my join date (per their site) was January, 2000 it wasn't an easy decision. Even though I still feel like I'm not one of the "cool kids" around here, it's still be better-functioning community.

It turned into "Cool Jam"...where you'd have posts from last Tuesday hanging around on the front page. Disheartening...

Still...it's the admins' own fault; I tried logging on a few times with my old user name, only to find I couldn't...and needed the e-mail address that I signed up with in 2006 (which I can't remember for the life of me).

Screw 'em...if they couldn't figure out a way to make the transition as effortless as possible, they don't deserve the participation. I'm pretty sure I'll be returning very infrequently, at this point.

Stats still seem to suck badly. Maybe that little uptick near the right is a recovery.

I stop in about once per week but mostly to see the classifieds...even the posting there has slowed significantly so, I don't know. It seems like a pretty big implosion over there.

Really, I thought that they learned their lesson after the last big change but apparently not. On a brighter note, I don't see that guy here that had all of the expensive guitars and the most boring music clips and he posted them over and over just in case someone wanted to worship him.
 
I still hang there regularly, but it's a mere shadow of its former self.
 
Yeah. For whatever reason, I can't quote posts, use formatting, or post pics or vids over there... That makes getting involved in discussions pretty frustrating and futile.

Yup. I have actually gotten out of the habit of checking it more than once daily - i'm down to about once every three days, and that is just to confirm that yes, there are still two-day-old posts on the first two pages of EC :(.
