Let's do this thing!... Who's up for Baimun's Midwest Guitar Fest?

Would have loved to but will be in route between Newport Rhode Island and Norfolk VA... Anchors Away!

I'm in for sure. I'll bring a guitar or two. I'm going to bring my Geddy Lee sig bass and his tech21 DI.

I would be interested in buying a used compact powered subwoofer.

That’s actually a maybe for me. I’ve been away from home for two weeks , and will check my schedule when I get back.

So a month and a half after our get together, the Hall or Heroes superheroe museum is having a comic-con. :helper:

(I had to shrink that image down... got tired of seeing that giant grinning face every time I opened the thread. :lmbo: )

It might be worth it to see a boozed up Tara Reid sitting by herself at Snappers having a Long Island Iced Tea and chain smoking Newport 100’s.

She had a rough go of it there for a while, but I thought she had gotten herself together lately, no? I mean, she's 50 now, so I don't think she's still out of control. But who knows, I haven't really followed her. She was quite something in the early 2000s. Her, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and a few others set the standard for the hot Hollywood party girl. It took its toll on all of them.

That article I posted was from a few months ago. She tried pulling a “Smollet.”

I'm in. What sorts of gear is needed? I have an acoustic, a Les Paul special, and an Epi Thunderbird bass. I have an ancient Peavey bass amp and a likewise ancient Marshall combo amp. I also have a Pod Go with a solid state amp and single 12" speaker cab.

I'd prefer not to bring the old amps because they weigh a TON and also I'm not sure a road trip would be good for them (particularly the Marshall). But, if we need amps, I can. If no gear is needed, I'll probably ride the bike. I can probably get the LP on the back of the bike.

I'll probably come up Friday and leave Saturday evening. I can come Thursday if there's anything happening Friday.

Bring whatever... or nothing. I'll have a PA, mics, at least one amp and one Kemper for people to use. Depending on what has pickups and strings on it, I should have 3 or 4 of my guitars there as well.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to try to come. I'll load up my trusty Classic 30, maybe my Warmoths, a couple of Les Pauls, and a bass (do we need a bass amp?)

A bass amp would be great. I have a bass but I typically use it through my Kemper.
