Let’s list all of the terrible rock songs about rock music!

I just have a thing against art that reflects back on the art making itself or the business side of the art making. That goes for most of the thematic material in The Wall. I don't really sympathize with the perils of rich rock stardom.

Fair enough, though I think the message of the song quite transcends trite metacommentary on the music industry.

I've heard the song and seen the video in very altered states enough that I have a semi-enjoyable existential dread reaction whenever I hear it. It's one of their songs that most gets to me.
