Fair enough, though I think the message of the song quite transcends trite metacommentary on the music industry.

I've heard the song and seen the video in very altered states enough that I have a semi-enjoyable existential dread reaction whenever I hear it. It's one of their songs that most gets to me.

Roger Waters thought it was too cynical too. He wasn't prepared to sing it as he saw fit at the time. They had Roy Harper do it. You knew that. I like the song.
