Unions here aren't what they used to be that's for sure. But right about now, what I wouldn't give to have somebody in my corner.

On top of that let me add that in the morning you may want to approach your supervisor the very first thing and say something to the effect of Mr. ZXY, about yesterday I'm sorry. My job status has me totally on edge and not knowing what the company has in store me has me afraid because I need this job.

Now, if you can't stomach to that then you may as well quit, because when I was a supervisor if anyone came remotely close to saying that to me and didn't apologize they were out of the door as soon as I could legally do it per company policy. If they didn't apologize and just quit, I dropped the ax when the call came for company verification. With and apology I could smooth it out as in company policy had my hands tied cause I thought he was worth keeping and probably just needed some more time to progress.

You're 100% correct. I've already come to that conclusion too.
The supervisor I referred to is pretty thick skinned and is obviously aware of my situation but he certainly deserves an apology. He and I have always gotten along pretty well in the 6 years I've worked there.

I get a valid FedMed card and I'm good. Had a driver whose Dr. forgot to give him his sleep apnea test so he failed. Had to keep him in a non CDL job until he could retake his medical. Once he got his new card he was back on the road full duty. A valid card is a valid card. What was is not important, what is, is.

So, I apologized to my supervisor first thing this morning....he told me to just forget what happened and we would move on.
Glad I apologized, it's not his fault all of this is going on.
It all happening on the corporate level...halfway across the country.
