Incoming NGD!

Thats the only Music Man I've played (other than an older Albert Lee) that I would have gone shopping for if I had the money after the first time I played it.

I haven't seen one of those models yet. They sound great in the youtube videos I've watched.

MM's are nice guitars. I really liked that Dark Lord Morse that baimun brought to Pragestock :)

Thanks. I’ve been wanting one, but there’s not a dealer in remotely close by.
I was in Lansing today so I stopped at Elderly’s and found one. I was absolutely blown away. It’s the first Music Man I’ve ever played. I wasn’t disappointed.

I had it shipped for “reasons” and it will be here Saturday.

Was the reason that sales tax was more than shipping?

I used to do the same thing when I bought stuff from a store in Maryland.

BTW, Music Man is by far my favorite off the shelf brand. They make an awesome guitar.

Yes, sales tax was stout. I literally bought the guitar over the phone in front of their building. Sales guy said if I was standing in front of him he’d have to charge me tax.

So, the bridge pickup is like a tele style single coil? And the neck is a humbucker with a coil split?

Man, I really like that. I've always wanted an Albert Lee but that's a strong contender too. Congratulations!

Luckily, the sales guy at the store I shopped at, played in a band with my bass player's brother. He would write it up as a mail order and I would walk out the door with it
