Impending Oasis reunion tour announcement

Oasis are much better than that shower of paedophile harbouring dandies :embarrassed:

I digress. My sister-in-law, who all go a sudden became a huge Oasis fan around Tuesday morning is having second thoughts at getting tickets as it'll mean standing about in a field or stadium for hours!

She'd never have hacked spending 4 hours precariously stood on top of a weekend old port-a-loo, still in use :chow: at T in the Park back in the day.

Been sat in the queue for hours. Currently 153,000 people in front of me. My brother and sister have been trying to get in from 9 and still haven't even been able to join it.

I got one. Literally one which is unfortunate for my sister and nephew but they're still in the queue.

Some ridiculous package where I've probably paid about £100 for a t-shirt and wristband but hey ho.

They’ve already said that they’ll be doing other continents in 2025. Assuming that they don’t somehow manage to choke each other to death on stage.

Maybe they will also tour America? You could see them at a small club for minimal funds.

I assume the payday makes the most sense for them in the US if they play Coachella or similar. Or a brief residency at the Sphere in Vegas. Otherwise they’re probably doing a night or two at MSG and maybe like a summer show at Wrigley with at least one other name ‘90s act and then a West Coast gig at similar scale. Touring in a sucker’s bet these days and Oasis doesn’t have the a-list draw in the States. If they did a full tour here they’d have to be the second banana on a tour with the Foos or something.

While I'm not their biggest fan, I mean, while I'm not much if a fan, I mean, while I'm absolutely not a fan, I would buy an 'Oasis Second Bananna Tour' T-shirt.
Your idea makes way more sense playing half full shows on the small club circuit. I see Dave Grohl taking home the lion's share of the money. They will need a couple more bands though. Maybe Fred Bizkit and Corey Feldman can fight for the scraps?
They could end the tour with an MTV unplugged extravaganza. I'll tune in for Corey's set.

*add Nickleback and Creed too.

Ive no desire to see them whatsoever but a friend of mine spent 45 minutes watching her computer screen slowly ticking down to zero and the very second it hit zero she got an error message saying something had gone wrong. Hhahahah nice.

No ticket.

Theres no band in the world that Im going to sit at my computer to buy a ticket for when half the time it goes wrong and/or its subject to 'dynamic pricing'. A rip off, basically.

Some of you MWGF forumites need to cool it. You know who you are. These young ladies have just as much right to see the Gallagher bro's as you dammit!

British music fans paid so much for their Oasis tickets that they can’t even afford Spotify to listen to the new Cure album.
