This thread got me interested so I watched the film. It had an interesting take on the early days of 24 hour news. Margot Robie gave a good performance, but never looked young enough for me to suspend disbelief. Allison Janney killed it. I feel like this was a 90s retro movie for kids who aren’t old enough to remember what happened.

I think that this whole ordeal, the first time around, was when I decided I really could not watch figure skating. Even as part of the Winter Olympics.

With the new channels and coverage they have now, you can watch any event any time you want. Being married to whom I am married to, I will end up watching every minute of every figure skating event for the entire Olympics. We watch pretty much every important skating event worldwide anyways. The US has legit medal contenders in two of the four skating disciplines (mens, ice dancing). In the other two (Womens, pairs) they have no shot whatsoever.
