This Super Bowl outcome was not a surprise, except maybe to some Patriots fans. Can’t blame fans for being hopeful. At least it was not a shutout.

That was one of the most boring Super Bowls ever. The outcome was pretty much decided in the 1st quarter. New England had no answer for the Seattle's defense, but at least New Englands own defense unit kept Seattle honest.
Honestly the NFL has become a very defense focused league these days, and from a statistical perspective I see why, The odds of breaking up a play are higher than it succeeding, and pass rush has gotten way too good these days for offense to really be effective.

Not boring to me. Defense and running game. Awesome!
To me, run and gun offense dominant with not much defense games in football, AND basketball, soccer, any of those team put the ball in the net/endzone sort of sports are boring. Run and throw back and forth with no requirement to be very good, just fast. Boring. I prefer it when people actually have to make plays, and act and think as a team. rather than huck it to Jordan and watch him dunk.
