I know you hate it but THIS IS THE WEIN NFL THREAD...'25-'26

Crazy. Did not expect that. Serious, honest question, what is wrong with the Eagles?
The O line is beat up and has players that are not as good as last year is one problem. The new OC is calling plays for the first time and is not doing a good job at it. Eagles are a team coming off a Super Bowl victory and hired a first timer to call plays and it shows as it seems he's out of his league as OC.

Here's a serious question. What is right with Da Bears? They are kicking ass and taking names.
This is an honest 1st place they are in.

Interesting stats about last year's super bowl teams.

Chiefs are actually scoring more points per game this year (moving from 12th to 9th in the league). They are also allowing fewer points per game on defense (remaining in 6th place both years). Opposite is true for the Eagles.

Eagles were #5 in per game scoring on offense last year. They're now 19th. And their defense moved from 1st to 8th.

Chiefs also went from 11th in point differential in 2024 to 6th in 2025. Eagles went from 2nd to 11th.

Fact: Their O line is very good. It's refreshing after 20 years of hiring GM that didn't think the O line was important.

Unsubstantiated, just what I think: Ben Johnson took over everything, not just head coach. That's how we ended up with a good O line without replacing the GM.

Other thoughts because I've been a Bears fan so long: I really didn't think they would beat the Eagles but, hey, even the Cowboys beat them. I'm still waiting for them to implode.

I think the coaching staff is good. They’re looking at what their guys can do vs. trying to install some perfect system and putting the team in a position to win. Schemes are good. Guys are bought in. O Line and running attack fixed their shit after the bye. Running game is good. Caleb’s numbers aren’t where you would want them, but he’s playing winning football and showing flashes of something special.

I don’t know how to feel going into games expecting the Bears to figure out a way to win.

The Panthers (31) upset the Rams (28). Carolina played some great defense. Now, the Bears are top seed in NFC.

The Texans (20) defeated the Colts (16). The Colts are trending in the wrong direction. Meanwhile, the Texans are trending in the right direction.

Jaguars (25) defeated the Titans (3). Jags now top the AFC South and will face the Colts next.

Damn Rams! The Colts quarterback is playing with a broken leg.

My Broncos (24) won against the Raiders (17). This was Denver’s 10th victory in a row, to take the top spot in the AFC above the Patriots, based on division record tie breaker. This is actually the first game of the season that the Broncos did NOT have to come from behind. Progress.

Don't expect much from the Chiefs game tonight.

They're still down three starting OL. So it will basically be Pat running for his life behind some of the worst pass blockers in the NFL.

Wow After a dismal 3rd quarter the Texans did what they had to do to win. Their D is awesome and the Chiefs kinda sucked on offense. Is this the beginning of the end of the Chiefs? Is Kelsey thinking in the back of his mind,"Fuck this shit, I'm marrying a billionaire...". lolololo
