that is an amazing movie...IIRC hes using a 1970s Telecaster, if you want one like it check out the
roadworn 50s tele
those are very nice
I have one of those and love it dearly. It is way better than it has any right to be. I was in the market for a telecaster and tried about 40, including some by top builders. Mine felt magical. It is my cheapest guitar but one of my favourites. It's mine and none of you can have it.

I played one of those roadworn 50's teles, it was awesome. I would have bought it on the spot, but didn't have the funds at the moment. After getting the funds, I ended up w/ a baja tele, just a little more versatile. Still like those 50's roadworns though. Have a 50's roadworn strat I really like.

Nope they are MIM. Wish I would have grabbed one when the local guitar store blew them out at $400.

they have olympic white with black binding too
these are all alder , which cant be beat. the pickups are A5, 5.8K bridge=twang city. think buck owens.
