Holy Crap, kids…look at this guitar they made for the Baimun+Motorik party band!

Peen Simmons

Let’s Get Obtuse!
Our dudes are gonna get matching guitars!

I'd rather have silver sparkle but that's really nice. I love Gretsch, the look, the sound, the vibe, but the problem for me with Gretsch is the scale length. The only model they have that is "normal" is the Elliot Easton signature Duo Jet which is Gibson scale or 25". Anyway....cool guitar.

Of course I love it.

If the good folk of MWGL were to chip together to buy that beautiful accordion for my birthday, I would definitely accept it. My birthday is not until February, so it gives you all a bit of time. And it gives me some time to woodshed those Prince and Jamiroquai songs Baimun wants to play.

Do you like Fender 25.5" scale length? The Gretsch Falcons are 25.5". I think @Pine Apple Slim has one.

I played a 6120 style Gretsch at the store years ago, and have really wanted one since. I think it was one of the Fender reissues with an obnoxious yellow finish, but it played like a dream and had TV Jones pickups with tone to die for.

I’m a Feb Birthday as well. :helper:

My wife wants a sparkly Penguin like you wouldn't believe...

Which means we'll pass the hat until there's enough for two of them, and a pair of Divided by 13 amps in matching custom colors, of course.
I'm picturing a Grondhog Day Birthday Bash Bonanza Jam.

Oh hey, it looks like another 6 weeks of winter.
