Well, I recently picked this up from the Stupid Deal Of The Day, an Epiphone Wilshire Limited... I swapped out the pickups for BG Pups humbucker sized P-90s, rewired it with just one volume and tone, and filled the old holes with a neck phase switch and a series switch (puts both pups in series regardless of main toggle position.. I also threw on a Bigsby trem for some surf music fun...

As far as setup, I used a screwdriver shaft to round over the edges of the fret board between all the frets, used my StewMac fret end file to clean the ends of all the frets a bit, filed all the nut slots down to just a fuzz higher than the frets, and gave the truss rod a crank... The intonation was good, and the action was where I like it, so I haven't messed with that...

So, I just played it for a good while through an amp and I'm stoked... I'll have more detailed reports later...

Sorry for the crappy pic with the dirt reflecting off the guitar... It is actually nice and clean, and I haven't dinged it, yet... We'll see how long that lasts!

Excellent. That looks really hot. The blue is much nicer looking in your pic than on the MF site.

Very nice. I have been wanting to give one of those a whirl. The bigsby and p-90s are super hawt.

Awesome!

What's the deal with the screwdriver and fretboard edges though?

I learned it from the Luthier's Corner in MLP... Instead of sanding the edge, the metal shaft is just rubbed back and forth, smashing down the wood, and giving it a nice smooth edge that feels like a used guitar...
