Like I said on the other one, if you can physically get out and do this, do it. Don't sit back and say boy, I wish I had.
I will be 100% honest.... the first Pragestock I attended... I still remembered a couple tunes from when I played in high school and college, but mostly seat of pants winging it or just watching other people play. But man I was I amped up and inspired to play more after that.
Later years I had worked up a handful of tunes... but I wasn't playing in bands yet. The thing is... I don't remember who played which songs and don't care. The best part was meeting all the people from the board and just having FUN.
Since then, I've hung with people at Namm, or quick meet ups with people at NAMM, lunch with Jeremy (RIP), and even had Jbird come to one of my pub shows. Again... there's nothing to worry about, feel judged about, or whatever. It's talking gear, sometimes checking out gear you've never played or seen, and ultimately adding new (3) dimensions to the fun we have here virtually.
