I don’t know if I’ve ever seen one. There used to be a few Cheeseburger in Paradises near me. The kids loved it when they were little, so we went occasionally.
 
I didn’t know that it’s a chain. I thought Margaritaville was just one restaurant in Florida.
 
Went to the one in Vegas way back 15 years ago or thereabouts. The ribs were surprisingly good - although I did not care for the pesto that was on top of the sauce.
 
Had a drink in the one in Vegas. It was OK.

I've come across a few in nicer, less tacky locations but have no idea why you'd choose to go there compared to a local bar or restaurant.
 
We've been to the one in Montego Bay Jamaica a couple of times. It is right next door to Doctor's Cave Beach which is usually what we do when there. It is expensive, but reasonably good food and it is right on the beach with a nice view.
 
Been to the one in Key west a couple times... one in Naples.... and to Jimmy's recording studio.
 
No, but I've been to Lulu's in Destin, FL. It's owned by Lucy Buffett (Jimmy's younger sister). It's just a kitschy beach bar/restaurant and I think there are a few of them scattered around the Gulf. Decent food and a nice spot on the water, nothing remarkable.

Jimmy Buffet is a genius on the level of Bod Dylan. Fight me.

He created a persona and built an empire tapping into an ignored subculture of the US. This doesn’t make Parrot Heads suck any less.
 
$100 to play that awful song. I have played and heard it so much that if I were still drinking margaritas, I would puke at first hearing.
