Give me something to watch on Netflix

Indeed. They keep up the mystique - the sunglasses do not come off.

I suppose after 50 years, tho, you do get to write your narrative.

I enjoyed the second season of Altered Carbon better than the first.

Maybe I was under a rock, but I was totally surprised to see Anthony Mackie in the lead role, or at all for that matter. I approve though.

Yeah, it was enjoyable but it definitely stretched the boundaries of suspended disbelief much further than the already thin first season. Some of the plot points require total willful ignorance to get past. But that's what made Star Wars great so who am I to criticize? :)

I mean, they're living on another planet and all... So...

But yeah, I enjoyed him and this is about the only show where they could get away with that kind of recasting without outcry. They also got along with much less gratuitous nudity. Not that I minded it so much as a shallow old lech, but it didn't get in the way of the story this time. I liked that they gave Poe a much better story arc as well.

Another vote for the ZZ Topumentary. I have never really delved into their history, although I had heard of the 13th Floor Elevators and Moving Sidewalks, so I really liked finding out some stuff about their beginnings.

We started watching "The Last Kingdom". Interesting show, but good grief, does any of the characters actually start thinking? It's kind of offputting to see the characters continually doing stupid shit and wondering why things go south.

Yep, you sort of nailed the precipice for the entire 2 or 3 seasons. Still enjoyed it, but the eye roll factor is strong and something you have to keep reminding yourself to ignore.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet, but I'm almost done with Episodes, pretty funny. Matt LeBlanc plays himself and I can't believe he lets himself be portrayed as such an ass. It is also exactly how I think Hollywood is

I've been telling everyone I know about Episodes (including a few posts here). Funny, funny stuff, and LeBlanc is just perfect as that guy who's an absolute ass, but yet still likable.

They definitely do a great job at making him likable but a complete ass. Some of the things he does is just plain horrible.

I watched that when it was on cable. Loved every minute of it! Evil Matt Leblanc was absolute genius!

Incase no one has mentioned it - we've been watching Tiger King the past few nights. It's one of those true crime type things but revolves around a bunch of loonies that run big cat zoos. Really fun and not too much of an IQ sink.

My wife found it last night and is obsessed.

Where do the writers come up with these ideas? :embarrassed:
