Give me something to watch on Netflix

Parks and rec. was a lot of fun. If you haven't seen The Office yet, it was even better, IMO.
I do not care for The Office, and that is exactly what the first season of Parks and Rec was - a clone of The Office

As a side note, I live in an area that is in between the two real towns that inspired Pawnee and Eagleton. I have to laugh every time they poke fun at the rich snobs in Eagleton - it usually isn't far from the truth.

I just wrapped up Jessica Jones. It’s rough around the edges, but worth watching to see the Marvel universe do a cannonball into the deep end of adult issues. I never expected to see Disney put out a Marvel TV series about abused women, child abuse, rape, abortion, and interracial romance.

They've just been standing back and giving the reins to creative teams from the comic books.

Daredevil
Jessica Jones
The History of the Eagles
Glenn Campbell - I'll Be Me
Muscle Shoals

I just watched the Glenn Campbell one. It was tough to watch in parts, seeing how bad that disease is. My grandmother has had it for a while now and it is pretty tough watching folks go through it. I was amazed at how he could still play and sing more nights than he had issues. It was also sad seeing a guy with alzheimer's play a guitar a billion times better than I ever could.

Just watched a movie called "Numbers Station"- a CIA-type thriller with John Cusak. Surprisingly good watch.

I too was fascinated in the fact that even though he forgot who he was, he never forgot how to play the guitar. All of the years that I have seen him on specials and shows, I have never seen him chicken pick until this movie. I was blown away and floored. I need to see it again just for that. I enjoy his music and play it every so often but never really studied it. He too was one of the Wrecking Crew....such an amazing player.

Watched 'Seven Psychopaths' last night and I thought it sucked.

Tons of great reviews, and an all-star cast. Colin Farrell, Woody Harrelson, Christopher Walken, Sam Rockwell, Tom Waits, Olga Kurylenko, Harry Dean Stanton…

The movie tried to be Quentin Tarantino/Pulp Fiction style film and failed miserably, in my opinion.

I'm sure Flamencology will disagree with me and say it was a great film :embarrassed:

You are definitely wrong.

But I'm not objective where that film is concerned.

I thought it was amazing, though In Bruges might be slightly better.
