Gary rocks out (kinda)

Cool. I enjoyed both videos. Of course, I was particularly grateful to hear that Dead song.

In the first video (acoustic) you strummed with your fingers. It looked like you had something on your thumb. Was that a thumb pick?

I noticed you strummed with a pick in the 2nd video (electric). You seemed to grip it fine. Is that one of your new picks?

I have been using a thumb and finger pick for years now. For heavy strumming, however the finger pick tends to fall off. That is the new Goonis pick in the second video; it was wonderful to hold on to a pick.

As I said in the video, Franklin's Tower is my favorite Grateful Dead song; it does really need at least a lead guitar to do it justice, adding bass and percussion is fantastic. I even had one more drummer than the Grateful Dead.

Excellent performance. I enjoyed both songs. Franklin's Tower was fun. Your lead acoustic player sounded great. As did the whole band.

Eastwood has heard about Rockin’ Gary B and has released some instruments to capitalize on his newfound love of hot molten shred.
