Garbage Can vs. Coltrane

He's a bore.
Outnof all the shredder guitar players he's he one that I have the most respect for. He is just an all around music lover and has respect for really all genres.
Now his original music....I ain't digging it all that much. It's a bit "out there".
If you're a Beatles fan he did a great project that was posted here some months ago called Yellow Matter Custard (or something). It's on youtube, if you're interested. The old drummer from Dream Theater is playing also...all Beatles material. I liked it a lot.

Each to his own.

Always found Coltrane to be the worst kind of instrumental wanker, while Gilbert can actually write decent songs.
Weird how that works.

Goodnight, Moon is a better read than Архипелаг ГУЛАГ if you don't understand Russian.

That said, the 'wankery' description is understandable, I guess, for some of his work, but it does show a general ignorance of his work.

Good Night Thread

It depends.

Is that garbage can part of Lars Ulrich's drum kit on St. Anger? Or is it just a regular garbage can?
