Dungeons & Dragons

Guitar Heel

Demented Trick
Anybody here play?

I haven’t played since middle school or high school. A group of us are paying a guy to DM and remind us what the fuck we’re doing. Being online has a lot of benefits, from dice rolls to player stats.

I built a character on dndbeyond, and we’re gonna meet with the DM tomorrow to make sure we did it right.

Something to do...

I play once a year with a couple friends from college. (Didn't do it this year since we couldn't get together.)
I don't really dig it like I did in my youth, but they do so I go along.

I would like to get back into it but the open games around town are usually 420 friendly college kids. I love weed but D&D doesn’t really work when everybody is high.

My nephew was making one shots for a little while and we were having an absolute blast. (3 nephews, me, my son, a niece and her husband)
Then they ditched me and started playing through a prebuilt campaign. Then COVID hit and they don't want to play on Zoom. We even made a few gallons of mead to help the roll play (see what I did there?)
My nephew that DM's is really good at it but he wants to play so we don't know who will DM when we start back.
I never played when I was younger because I grew up southern baptist and it was considered the devil's game.

First game...er...adventure is set for 10/11.
Rise from the dead! How did it go? Have you played anymore? I want to get a campaign going so bad but it's nearly impossible to get us al together on a remotely regular basis.
We have been playing some fun board games though. Played one called Summer Camp (or something) and it was fun.

check out gloomhaven if you haven't yet - it's ultimately more of a turn-based strategy game when it comes down to the nitty gritty, but it's often described as "D&D in a box"
