Yeah but, it's the superbowl. So the commercials will be superbowl commercials.

I'm really disappointing the Patriots are in it. Not dredging up the past/who did what. It's because Brady is their QB. Again, not dredging up the past. Don't hold anything against him for being married to Giselle, I'm married to a beautiful woman too. Used to have a lot of respect for him, happy for a guy that wasn't drafted till late "pulling himself up by the bootstraps" becoming the best QB ever. Problem is, he is so good. It's beyond boring to watch him. So, I will take bathroom breaks, etc. while they have the ball so I don't miss any commercials and the half time show.

We’ll be driving back from Santa Rosa when it’s on. I haven’t watched a never-ending-boring-bowl-with-millions-of-ads for years.
 
I hadn’t planned on watching a second of it but after reading some comments elsewhere, I will at least watch a little. I may watch until the first play, then I’ll stop.
 
I’m a contrarian sports fan. I root for the Bears in general, but they suck, so I rarely have a postseason rooting interest. I love the current Pats regime. They have solved football. I like seeing a team being that good. I’m sure everyone involved is awful people, but they’re excellent.

The silver lining to the Pats winning is that it would silence some of the Steelers fans bragging about having the most superbowl wins...even if most of those came in the 70s.

Mrs. T is a life long Eagles fan, so it will be on. I've watched no more than a few hours of football this year. It no longer holds my interest.

and i hate the inflategate patriots.
but is still won't watch it.
 
I’m going Mountain Biking instead. Trails are pretty empty when the Super Bowl is on.
I don’t have a dog in the fight so I don’t care who wins it.
Someone said I’ll miss the halftime show. I almost smacked them.

i was at the store at about 1:30 this afternoon. and as i was going thru the checkout i said to the cashier "wow, it's awfully busy today, i wonder why?" she said "it's because of the super bowl" and i was like, "oh yea, that's on tonight, huh"
i had honestly forgot all about it.:grin:
