Achtung! Does anyone care about the Super Bowl this year?

Yup. They played all out to win the game.

Yup and the Eagles made one error when Foles threw the one interception. Other than that, they played a great game. As for the Pats, the fumble sack is what hurt the most, well a missed FG and xtra PT.

Due to my paralympian neighbor, I really liked those Toyota ads. But the dancing dudes were good. I also liked the Doritos and Mt. Dew one.

That's not right. They lost to the NY Football Gianyts twice, now the Iggles. Before that it was Chicago and Green Bay (iirc). NFC Central, no?

They beat the Eagles, that’s their 1. They lost to the Giants twice and Eagles tonight. 2+1=3. For a final 1 win, 3 losses vs the NFC East or 1-3.

Ok, not hating on either team, but I thought this was funny.

Hard to overstate how big this is for the Eagles.

Paid top dollar for a backup QB and Foles came off the bench and killed it.
Overpaid a bit for Blount and ripped him from the Pats and grabbed Ajayi on a trade. Nice.
Signed Jeffreys to a 1-year deal and extended him in November.
Went balls out in the SB and hung 41 on the Pats.

Crown em!

I live in South Philly, near the stadiums. In my usually quiet neighborhood, the sound erupted when the game ended. Fireworks, chants, etc.

I had to gather myself, have a bit of a cry (I've been an Eagles fan since I was born in the year of their last NFL championship in 1960), then changed to outside clothes and joined a very joyous and safe bunch of people on Broad Street at Oregon. Many cops, but they were enjoying it too. A few were smoking victory cigars, and turning a blind eye to the odd can of beer someone like me might be carrying.

I left after about a half-hour to let the kids have their fun - because I needed to sit down and process it some more.

As I was putting out some trash, I opened my back door - I live three blocks from Broad Street. I can still hear them partying.

The Eagles are Super Bowl Champions!

The NFC East is 13-8 in Super Bowls. As a Division, they have the most SB wins, most SB appearances, and the best adjusted SB W/L % in the era...by a mile.

THIS IS A TREND.

The NFC East is also the only division where every team has won a Super Bowl.
