Did something I have never done at my bar gig last night.

I didnt have a single drink. Not one. Went to the bar once and asked to fill up my water bottle with actual H2O.

Kinda funny watching the drunks at 1am.

I also find that I play better without drinking, go figure.

Welcome to the club. Haven't had a drink since November 8, 2008, and that was only because it was my bachelor party and I had to prove a point to my brother, who was paying. I drank my face off, didn't get drunk, drove everybody home after the barmaid made me do a field sobriety test to find that I wasn't even buzzed. Dunno how that works but it does, so drinking is boring and a waste of time and money for me.

good on you! I never drink anything when I'm gigging as i have to drive thru a county known for an enhanced police presence and road blocks. It gets old dealing with people whose sole ambition is to piss in the parking lot
