Chiliheads, whats the hot sauce you most often reach for?

Yes, they are. I am pretty sure that if it had come to the attention of the authorities when I grew them, I would have been charged with CSC (with a vegetable).

Cholula is good for stuff! But for heat I'd have to go with Tapatio. My current favorite, however, would definately be Arizona Gunslinger. It's some real good stuff!

I'm down with anything as long is it's NOT Tabasco. :embarrassed:

Well, like most of you I have different sauces for different foods. I do have a bottle of Tapatio on my desk at work though.

I was surprised, but I have been using this one quite a lot at home for tacos and the like. Not too hot, with a lot of flavor.

I'm on a Tabasco habanero kick these days. Nothing else is doing it for me.

For chili, or anything else vaguely Texican or Latin American, my go-to is Tapatillo. To me it has just the right heat/flavor balance, and it's also super cheap.

Siracha is good and everything, but to me it tastes a little weird on Latin-ey stuff. I prefer to save it for Asian dishes.

Lots of Sriracha. Like...a bottle every two weeks. Used to think it was pure heat, but after making myself eat it over the years, it's not far off from ketchup now. Along with that, really like cholula, tabasco green. I have some sauces my dad brought me from the Yucatan peninsula, but they are pretty intense.
