Problem is now... who actually deserves Super Bowl MVP? Everyone thought (before the game) that Barkley had a shot, but he didn't play well at all today... averaging only 2.3 yards per carry. Worse than old ass Kareem Hunt's 3.0 ypg today.

Those stats are a silly way to make sense of the game. Anyone who watched knows the Eagles defense dominated KC and Mahomes. KC was literally never a threat in this matchup.
I can’t recall any recent games where Patrick Mahomes was so ineffective. Meanwhile, Jalen Hurts broke one of his own records.

Sunday morning, Guide on Hulu plus live said super bowl starts at 5
0 my time, ends at 8:30. Turn on the TV 10 minutes to 5. Now it says it doesn't start till 5:30. So glad I experienced it. It was exceptional.

I was really looking forward to Barkley rushing for a couple hundred yards. Unfortunately, Chiefs decided to stop the run at all costs.

The Chiefs OL is not hard to beat. They are horrible. And the Chiefs have had to just do quick screens all season long to compensate. Almost every play is a throw behind the line of scrimmage. It's insane that that got through one of the toughest schedules I've ever seen. I'm actually surprised when there is a normal pass over the middle or down field a ways. Whereas until a few years ago that was the norm.
We went through three LTs before being forced to move Thuney (LG) there out of desperation. Then a backup took over Thuney's spot (and he ranked about dead last in the league in pressures allowed). So now instead of three good linemen they have only two (C Creed Humphrey and RG Trey Smith). And an otherwise all-pro player (who makes a very high salary) becomes basically an average to below average player week to week.
The Chiefs also don't have superstar receivers to make up for it. Almost no one is ever open on any play. The WR1 Xavier Worthy was ranked 60th in receiving yards. Mahomes for whatever reason injured Rashee Rice's knee trying to tackle him during an interception.
Up until now the Chiefs have taken advantage of blitzes by either having Mahomes scramble or throwing screens over their heads. But the Eagles today didn't even need to blitz to get pressure. So they could sack him as much as they wanted because everyone is covered down field anyway.

Thanks for posting. I missed that before the game. It was contrived and hokey, rather than a spontaneous live performance. Yet, I enjoyed watching the clip. Lady Gaga is indeed a talented singer, songwriter, musician, performer.
I don’t have any of her music. I don’t plan to buy any of her music. But, I certainly get why she has fans.
