CASE IN POINT: I am not a coder, I do not know any code but I used Claude to build a website that makes it easy to track GC used listings from scratch

Anyone who browses the GC website looking for the latest used items knows it's a clunky pain in the ass. Well I used Claude Code to build myself a little website tool where you can run a search and it will show you all the new items at the store(s) you selected since the last time you ran it:

I'm still working the bugs out but once it's up and running I can share it with anyone who is interested......

This took me about three hours to build from absolute scratch BTW. I didn't use any GUI site builder tool or anything else - it's Python (?) code built entirely by Claude just from me describing in plain english what I want it to look like and the functionality I need. Acutally I didn't even tell it what I wanted it to look like, it figured that out on its own.

I can try but their search page (at least for me) seems to be constantly crashing / bugging out. Not sure what's possible there but I'll look!

Again the fact that I can even do this is pretty crazy. I gotta stress again - I know zero about building a webstie, or a database, or JSON or Python or any of that stuff. Any of you could build something like this just as easily as I am.
 
Could I use Claude for a "salami attack" designed to steal fractions of a cent from bank transactions and route them into a personal account? I want a virus that will steal tiny amounts, gradually over time that are virtually undetectable. It’s important that Claude does NOT misplace a decimal point.

I'm sure you can - I don't know how to set up like active e-mail alerts yet, but I could set up a search function where you could search all stores for Suhr, or set it up so that it would move them (and anything from your saved list of priority searches) to the top of the list.

as of right now, everyone will see the same favorites, etc. because I don't have individual users set up... yet... for that there'd need to be either a cookie based thing, or a way to create your own user account. that might be harder to get working... or it might not, because this damn thing has been pretty good so far.

Can't remember... is that Richard Pryor in Superman, or that weird radioactive Superman clone? Or both? I kinda block those older shitty superhero movies out. Except Howard the Duck of course. :helper:
 
You should turn this into a startup. Charge the guitar stores, pawn shops, and thrift stores to send people mobile alerts when keywords appear in new gear listings. Just find a way to put ChatGPT in the back end so you can tell investors that you’re an AI company.
