This is a great demo.

It sounded great. Like RJ, he explained how the Input Gain affects compression. But, he ONLY demonstrated using it for direct recording, which is great if that’s how you plan to use it.

What I liked about RJ’s video is that he demo’d the pedal (1) direct, (2) in front of an amp, and (3) in the loop of an amp. That’s what made me think I may want one.

I love that sound but really, wouldn't you feel like a dork playing in front of people with that sound?

Since I rarely if ever play (electric) in front of people these days, I can't be bothered by that. However, I would have to learn all those scales and techniques to make it work so I don't know - I'm really more of a Guitar George type by nature.

Not just you. Joe did indeed use the Rockman during that era.
