Beato Sig LP DC this summer

I love the way it looks. But I hate the location of the selector switch on those double-cuts. I think it would cause me a lot of frustration.

The $1,500 range would be close to "reasonable", based on other production artist guitars...e.g. the Lukas Nelson LP Jr. Beato is higher profile among musicians though, so I'm guessing it'll also be at least $1,800.

I'd just want a LP DC w/ the LP Special Tribute treatment...$999. The Beato model will ensure that never happens.

$1,500 would be a cheap discount model compared to the $3,800 reissue models they’re selling right now.

I fully expect it to be over $2k. I like the looks of it, but I’m happy with the DC I have.

It is definitely under $2K. Likely quite I bit under. I was listening to Beato last weekend live and he was asked about the price and he said that much.

Problem is there will likely be quite a bit of demand so no deals will be had and they will sell out pretty dang quickly.

Maybe, there are only 2 Gibson Sigs under $2k and they are both single pickup. The Lukas Neslon is a '59 LP Jr and its $1599 which is $100 more than the regular LP Jr. The current LP Special (not a DC) is $1599, so this will probably be $1,699 or maybe $1,799.

CME did a run just like that a couple years ago. Played well and sounded pretty good.

hey also did some yellow/blonde ones.

Maybe you can find a used one or CME will do another run. They tend to revisit their exclusives.

I remember those, but I did not like the pick guard mounted pups and controls...not a good look for the DC to me. The Special tributes are rear routed & top mounted just like the originals. Regardless, I like fender-esque guitars much more than Gibsons. Thinking the Noventa Tele might scratch my P-90 itch...

You should save up infinity dollars and buy one of these fancy boutique copies.
