Any camera nuts here?

I’m am not but I have this:

My late wife was nature and bird lover and had taken really nice pictures with lessor cameras. She was a Birds and Blooms magazine subscriber and reader. I read about what some of their hobbyist used and it was this camera. I went on the hunt and because of where we lived a fairly long drive to get it. Blue birds and hummingbirds were her favorites. Before she could never get a hummingbird picture and get the wings to stop in motion and be in focus. With this camera she was able to get the pictures she wanted and it made her very happy.
 
Well, I think I am going to go with a 4:3 system, probably Olympus.

Now the question is: do I get the basic camera for $699, or do I step up and get the weather sealed OM-5 for $1199? Or I could even go with their Pen series, which looks like a small point n shoot camera but one that can use all the lenses. The Pen's arent sold in the US, but used ones can be had from amazon or used camera websites for roughly $500 or less.

I have the same camera. I also have a Sony RX100V for when I don't need a long lens.

What sticks out to me besides the obvious weather sealing is: Much better image stabilization, better continuous shooting framerate, fully articulating screen (this is up to taste, some dislike this and prefer the tilting screen on the E-M10). There are other small improvements but nothing that looks to be make-or-break. I'd say that unless you think you're going need the extra stabilization or weather sealing the E-M10 should be fine. As a side note, keep an eye on their Outlet where they sell refurb stuff. I see an E-M10 up right now for $559. I bought a pro series lens from the Outlet and couldn't tell that it was refurb at all. https://explore.omsystem.com/us/en/refurbished/cameras
 
Ended up ordering the OM System (Olympus) OM-5, that comes with a 14-45 f/4 lens, for $1399. It was on sale, their fall sale thing. Regular msrp for the camera is $1199, and the lens is $699, so a little bit of a deal.

That's a great deal. I have the 12-40 f2.8 pro lens but have heard great things about the 14-45.
