All of my guitars are freaking the eff out with the weather.

My stuff is usually pretty consistent since the weather is usually so mild around here (even at its worst) but for the last week or two pretty much everything I bring out is either not staying in tune or buzzing like crazy. Annoying but I don't want to start messing with anything unless this continues another week or so. :annoyed:

hot, but its also been humid some days and I keep the studio pretty air conditioned while I'm working so they get yo-yo'd tempwise as well.

I'm in exactly the same spot. My Tele and LP were set up perfectly -- and I mean perfectly -- a month ago. Now the 4th string on the Tele can't even be plucked open without it buzzing and the LP is almost as bad. I've taken them off the multi-rack and put them back in their cases for a couple of weeks.

My reverend got REALLY buzzy this week. I'm sitting here warming up on it this morning before I leave for the studio since I want to use it for a couple of songs and its kind of a mess. Since I've gotten it though its been fairly tempermental. My McFeely wouldn't stay in tune on my gig last night either.

We have a two real seasons here. Winter and summer. Winter is 75F and very low humidity every day, whereas summer is 95% and massive humidity. The switch between seasons happens in over a couple of weeks, and during those transitions my guitars get squirrelly. I play the steinbergers a lot then, as they are the only ones that don't go out of whack.

I've been fixing guitars all last week with folks having strings literally laying on the frets from humidity making the necks bow back.

I need to get some new strings so I can do a summer-setup but the local shop is closed. My Squier Jm is the only one currently not "off". Don't have A/C in every room so I have to be careful about playing in certain rooms. First world bedroom hack problems

Same thing here. It's hot and humid one day, cool and dry the next, torrential downpour the next. Can't keep anything in tune. Honestly I'd love to have a carbon fiber neck. To the future!

The humidity nailed me at the bonfire gig last weekend.. The dot became a banjo.
The Paul acted up a little but was good enough to make it through and the Martin Acoustic held up coming out of an AC house to the deck, just long enough to do 20 minutes of nonstop improv....

Next day back at the studio, Paul and Martin came back. Dot required an entire setup and a few days to get playable again.

And these things live in a room with a Fishtank to keep them somewhat stable....and THAT works...as long as they stay in the studio....

So yeah, good luck with that... I'd go nuts too....

Our practice space has been crazy hot. My Strat would not stay in tune. The Charvel So Cal held up fine once I finally got it in tune.

The two gigs I did from Thursday through Saturday had me with my maple necks. They are not a transient because of this bloody humid, hot on and off weather that we are currently having....yikes.

too hot to play electric the last 3 days and probably the next 3 or 4  The last thing I need is a tube amp adding more fuel to the fire...it works great in the winter but makes the music room 4-6 degrees hotter so I'm on the couch playing acoustic

Anything made of mahogany has swelled to twice it's normal size here in the midwest. I've had to do quite a bit of tweaking this week.
