Aaaand, I'm off to see Iron Man 2!

I saw this tonight and felt it dragged somehow. It's a shame because I remember liking the first one. And I know it's nuts when the entire idea is that it's an action movie, but it just seemed to fall into a very predictable-albeit-cutesy mode. Robot and superheroes and things blowing up. Ehhh.

Well considering that I spent most of yesterday vomiting or sleeping (left work early)... I'm feeling better today and will go see it shortly.

entertaining and predictable - good cast, no surprises at all in the script

Stark is a great character for Downey, and Shandling always rocks

I watched it Premiere night and i fecking loved it and unfortunately i found out about Avengers, 2 months ago, and it ruined the surprises but the pipe prop... BEST PIPE PROP UP EVER!

Scarlett Johanssen is smokin hot.
Gary Shandling can stll be funny.
Robert Downey and Gwynneth Paltrow do a decent Spencer Tracy/Katherine Hepburn routine.
Mickey Rourke is enjoyable chewing the scenery as the hammy villian.
Samuel L. Jackson does his usual solid job with an underwritten role.
My kids loved the action seqences, and thought that this one was even better than the first.

My wife and I went friday morning, theater was packed! We really liked it, Rourke does a great job and I would have liked to see more of him. Did anyone notice in the closing credits that one of the actors is Jack White? If he was in it I sure didn't notice him. Maybe it's a different Jack White?

Got the the theater early...was first in line to get a good seat plus my popcorn wasn't burnt so I knew it was going to be a good night. I really enjoyed the movie but I've been reading Iron Man comics since I was a kid so I'm a little biased I guess. I was glad to see more of the suit and liked all the Avenger tie in's. I'm just waiting patiently for the Mandarin to make an appearance.

Poor Stan Lee..heh...getting compared to Larry King.
